How does DOUBLING everyone's tax sound?

Fact remains (and you guys can argue over a trillion here or there) Obama has outspent the other 43 Presidents combined. You can throw up Bush's spending, it was atrocious, but it pales in comparison to Obama's. And I hereby promise not to ever elect George Bush president again, that's about all I can do about him now. If he runs, I promise I won't vote for him again. If the Republicans nominate him, I will change parties. Now that this is settled, can we stop talking about Bush? Nothing can be done about the spending Bush did, it's already done, we can't get that back. It seems kind of pointless to continue propping up Obama's spending by pointing to Bush. What difference does it make how much spending FDR did as president? Or LBJ? Or Jimmy Carter? These men are PAST presidents, we are talking about our CURRENT president, and the level of unprecedented spending HE is doing NOW! What presidents in the past did, doesn't really pertain to the debate.

Ditzie.... the FACT remains that the debt was about $10 Trillion when Bush left office. It is now at $14 Trillion and counting.... that is a drastic increase to be sure, but $4 trillion is not greater than $10 trillion.

"...nearly half of U.S. households pay no income taxes at all..."

So what's 2 X 0?

Even you can afford that, Dix...can't you?

The fact remains, if you add all the budget deficits for the previous 232 years of ALL the previous 43 presidents, it doesn't total what Obama has rung up in less than 4 years. Keep in mind, his healthcare plan won't even start to kick in until 2014. You are not counting that, or all the other shit that we will ultimately get the bill for after he is gone.

Will that be 2017, after his successor is sworn in?

Um... YES... it does.... the total deficits of all previous Presidents is equal to the national debt at the time Bush left office ditzie.... that number again is over $10 Trillion. Yes, Obama has been bad. Yes, his average deficit dwarfs what the left got pissy about under Bush (despite the fact that Bush's largest deficit was with a Dem led Congress). But the FACT remains that Obama has not even come close to matching all of his predecessors combined. If he continues on his current pace, then yes... he likely will have doubled the debt should he be President for two terms. But that is not a FACT ditzie, that is a GUESS. We don't even know if he is going to be re-elected. I also do not disagree that his policies are going to be detrimental (especially the health care fiasco) to the future budgets/debt.... but we don't know how detrimental.

Bottom line is this.... He has NOT done what you said was 'FACT'. That much we do know.

Every post you make under the Confederate flag probably gains Obama votes, Dix.

Keep up the good work.

you're dumb, you can't read

such intelligence onceler, you're so smart

Thanks; I am definitely smart enough to not conclude that anyone who supported the bailouts or stimulus "likes debt." To me, that doesn't take too much in the way of brains.

Unless you're Yurtsie, of course. Sorry 'bout that...

They were emergency economic measures. I don't like debt.

If I'm starting a small business, I have to start w/ debt; doesn't mean I like it.

Pretty dumb, Yurtsie - even for you. Your brain really does work in a simplistic way.

no wonder you're such a failure...you don't have to start a small business with debt

you like debt, you said yourself, you supported huge debt at least twice. why lie about it?
