Of course the Dems have embraced the OWS movement. The OWS movement is grassroots, ordinary Americans, part of the 99 % that are against big corporations, banks and the rich, who care nothing for them, and are intent on enriching themselves at the expense of the 99 %. Are you crazy? No wonder why the Republican Party is known both as "the party of the rich", and "the white party".

And consider what happened in every other city that the "occupyers" gathered in....

Why do Alias and you have such difficulty with basic comprehension? Try reading the article referred to more slowly. You'll understand there's no hypocrisy involved. The Democratic Party can sympathize with the demonstrators and still prefer they do not camp/pitch tents on city grounds. One can believe in their cause and not necessarily approve of their tactics.

Sometimes I feel like I'm talking to kids when trying to have a civil debate with you and Alias. Your arguments are certainly childish.

Wrong again lad......the "demonstrations" of the occupy group take the form of camping out, staying for days, in tents or where ever....and THAT is what is not being allowed by the lefties......they might be allowed to "demonstrate" in the way of the Tea Party, but not in the way of the "Occupy WS" folks....

You and tapdance around with word games, it just shows you to be a partisan ass....you know exactly what the issue was from the opening post.

When did Obama say he approved of them camping on public properties? He said he understood their complaints. He sympathized with their cause. Just because one sympathizes with a cause does not mean they would support mob riots and property damage. There isn't anything hypocritical about drawing a line at demonstrator's behavior.
