In November 1985, the Harvard Law Review published an article by Derrick Bell that was a "classic" in the development of Critical Race Theory. The article was edited by then-student Elena Kagan, and was cited by Prof. Charles Ogletree in support of her nomination to the U.S. Supreme Court by President Barack Obama in 2010. The article makes clear that Critical Race Theory sees the U.S. Constitution as a form of "original sin"--a view later embraced by Obama as a state legislator, and reflected in his actions and appointments. The following is an excerpt from the non-fiction portion of the article; much of what follows is a fictional story that Bell intended as a parable of racial "fantasy."

wow. what I find most amusing about the liberals is that they are perfectly comfortable having the government change definitions of simple words to them and blindly accepting that it must be this way.
 
Bell desires to see the racial struggles only- not the nations struggles. He views everything through the specter of a racial divide- imagine a nation so divided that a black man was elected to the highest office of the land- and that, because of a large margin of white voters. This is just more proof of the myth- </sarcasm>

Obama does not like our nations constitution- he has said as much in the past. His desiring to intrude on religious liberty- after being warned by Biden- proves he has little regard for our founding document. I despise his self righteous arrogance and his progressive views. ABO 2012

I always get the feeling that the liberal elites won't be happy until they can have the definition of 'property' changed to include conservative white men.

STY, the American people will no doubt lose all of their rights in the future, as a product of the natural erosion which occurs within all republics. However, we will lose them collectively, as one whole mass of citizens and resident aliens. White men are not going to become property by themselves. When the government comes for you (if it does in your lifetime), you will be fighting alongside black, Latino, Asian, and Native men and women who have likewise lost their liberty and are being targeted by the state.
