He may have violated the training; but that doesn't equate to criminal negligence.
 
If a person is the aggressor in a confrontation and then gets his *ss kicked can he shoot and kill a person and have it be considered self-defense? (This is a general question)

Only if the second person does something that makes him now the aggressor.
You guys really need to take some training or read up on what constitutes self defense.

I am not a lawyer nor have any desire to be one. I also didn't read the other responses in this thread so I apologize if my question was already asked.

Criminal Negligence is defined this way: The failure to use reasonable care to avoid consequences that threaten or harm the safety of the public and that are the foreseeable outcome of acting in a particular manner.

The training shows it was foreseeable, and that he knew that there could be consequences for the action.

I would love to see a link to your citation and are you saying that his training says "if you follow someone, it could end up in you shooting them"?

I guess it's just not possible that the "eyewitness" could have spent the past few weeks CREATING this story to cover for his/her friend Zimmerman?

There are also other witnesses whose stories CONTRADICT Zimmerman's friends story...do you also consider what they have to say to be "the truth"?

I don't make assertions......I repeat what the witness reported and what the police said about Zimmermans injuries....


Now you're gonna PROVE the witness waited almost a month to report what he witnessed
And PROVE that he and Zimmerman were friends, (as opposed to acquaintances)
And PROVE that other witnesses contradict the eyewitness....(keep it apples to apples, I already know Zimmerman, supposedly didn't try to help the kid he shot which is irrelevant)

The police CONFIRM Zimmermans injuries after the attack.....proof enough for a jury, proof enough for me.....

This is another good legal tactic, stir up as much dust and smoke as you can so nobody knows what's real and what's alleged. Good luck to the grand jury, the truth is harder to find than an atheist in a foxhole and more difficult to hold onto than virginity in a whorehouse.
