Actually, there seems to be a lot of confusion about the New Black Panther/Black Panther distinction so no, it isn't the case that only a fucking moron wouldn't have know who he is talking about. Yes, we all know he's talking about the group that put out that dumbass poster, but a lot of people might assume that the group is the Black Panthers from the 60s instead of the totally unrelated New Black Panthers.

I didn't say "on this board." There is a lot of confusion on it in general and a lot of conflation of the two separate and very different groups. This has been the case since the two New Black Panthers were filmed at a Philadelphia polling place in 2008. Click on the link in the OP. Read the headline. It's a common mistake and it leads to a lot of confusion between the two separate and distinct groups.
Why should I show outrage that a hate group acts like a hate group? It's what they do. Just like I'm not showing outrage that a white supremacist hijacked all of Trayvan Martin's social media and email accounts. Yeah, it's outrageous, but what the hell do you expect from these bottom-feeders?

No, elsewhere people conflated the two groups. And then STY conflated the two groups. And then Yurt conflated the two groups. And you conflated the two groups. Clearly, it isn't just people elsewhere.
I thought it worthwhile to point out that the New Black Panthers and the Black Panthers are different. It was just a PSA. You and Yurt could have simply read it and moved on without commenting or maybe just a "thanks for the info" or something along those lines.
