sep 17 2020 Former first lady Michelle Obama took a dig at President Trump and his administration, saying she and former President Barack Obama “never could’ve gotten away” with what the current White House occupants do.

The former first lady made the remarks while having a discussion about race and the expectations placed on black Americans in the latest episode of her Spotify podcast, released Wednesday.

"When we were in the White House, we could’ve never gotten away with some of the stuff that’s going on now, not because of the public, but our community wouldn’t have accepted that. You worked, you did your best every day. You showed up,” she told her mother and brother during the discussion.

The former first lady declined to mention the current commander-in-chief by name, but she has not been shy in her criticism of him in the past.
