Trump allies spending millions to dissuade people from voting

Right-wing legal groups with ties to Donald Trump have banked millions of dollars from conservative foundations and filed multiple lawsuits challenging voting rules in swing states that are already sowing distrust of election processes and pushing dangerous conspiracy theories, election watchdogs warn.

All three branches of government have betrayed us, but trying to pursue fair elections through the courts is still the right thing to do.

Harris wants anything but fair and open elections. She favored both the For the People Act, and the John Lewis Voter Act. Two of the most mendacious and vile pieces of legislation designed to undermine election integrity Congress has ever seen.

In your opinion, perhaps.
Not opinion, fact. The For the People Act was modified, slightly, into the John Lewis Voter Act. Both would allow:

Mandatory voter registration of anyone getting a drivers license. This would include 16 and 17 year olds and foreign nationals. The act says these groups couldn't legally vote. So, the question is, Why register them?

Outlaws all forms of voter ID

Makes ballot harvesting, and ballot drop boxes mandatory nationwide.

Opens a 30 to 45 day window for voting in elections

Removes almost all means of taking someone off voter registration rolls

That's just for starters. Both bills are written to make voter fraud so easy to commit on a mass scale it isn't even funny.[/U]

Fact? Your slant hardly makes your opinions factual.

Neither proposed act became law, did they?

This is a good point to point out that the 2020 federal election spending was $15 billion, this one will almost certainly be well about $20 billion....a few million is bubble gum money.
