And when subject to independent auditing it’s way less corrupt.
If a small percentage of entrepreneurs happen to get wealthy taking the calculated risk of starting and running a business with the government as their client, I don’t see a problem with that.
Not every privately run business would succeed, so there’s that.

A private company can be far more easily sued for being wrong. A faceless government bureaucracy cannot. Bet the private entity will get it right more often than not because the employees want to keep their jobs.
