Robert Reich on how to get our democracy back

Ronald Reagan and the toxic concept of "Trickle Down".

Trickle down is a dumb leftist Democratic meme used to dupe gullible low IQ and uneducated dotards into believing that Government should be in the redistribution business. Nothing could be dumber.

If you look at a graph of middle class share of the wealth of America's output you see it tracks pretty well up to about 1981 at which point it stagnates. It has stagnated while the wealthy have gotten more and more and more.

The source of that brainless lie filled graph is the author of the stupid article, Reich. Nothing is dumber than

Yup, it's the rich getting richer. If the middle class is vanishing, Einstein, and money isn't disappearing, then where is it going?

To have this brainless view, one must believe that the economy is a zero-sum game, and that therefore, if one has more, someone else must have less. This is a dumb lie promoted by BIG Government liars who gaslight the uneducated and willfully stupid.

When Bill Gates created Microsoft, he became incredibly wealthy as a result. He also created a lot of millionaires, helped small businesses become much more productive and even gave a lot of his wealth away. That is a good thing.

Name one country that become wealthy and prosperous through redistribution and high taxes. You cannot. It doesn't exist.

This graph is a dumb lie and only goes to 2005. Why do you think that is? Secondly, it actually shows constant wage growth. The top 1% will grow faster but it does not mean that the lower tiers get less. That's a brainless lie.

Here's a better more honest graph:

Hey, bet you're looking forward to paying more for goods and services now that the tarrifs are going to be in place. Or are you a Trumpist who thinks the angels play tarrifs for you?

That depends on where the goods and services are generated. In the long run, tariffs on goods and services from other nations that are taking advantage of trade policies or are heavily subsidized, generally are a good thing. But it is government imposing a tax too, and higher taxes generally mean those with less income feel the pain of that.
And the astoundingly bad jobs numbers today have to make you feel GREAT about your vote!

What "astoundingly bad jobs numbers?" It sure seems you're thrilled if it involves bashing Trump.
My 401k is being strangled today. I'm jealous of you folks on welfare who don't worry about retirement or 401k's or the stock market.
Then you have it badly invested. Mine's making bank. So's my IRA's, investment accounts, and other investments. Just because you don't know how to manage yours isn't a problem for me.

A child-like argument based in hyperbole. You do that a lot. :palm:

The job numbers are actually quite good. What data are you looking at? MSNBC?

My 401k is being strangled today.

Today? The stock market is not about one day you brainless clown. No wonder you voted for an idiot like Kamala.

I'm jealous of you folks on welfare who don't worry about retirement or 401k's or the stock market.

This looks like projection. You seem very unhinged. TDS much?

Fact is, Democrats bring prosperity, Republicans put the US in debt.
That's a brainless uneducated lie. Democrats bring malaise, taxation and dumb redistribution schemes.

The thing Democrats do best is chase wealth away along with opportunity and prosperity. They like brainless gullible dupes that like being promised free stuff on the backs of productive members of society.

In addition, I find it amusing that the same dullards who whine about the Trump tariffs never seem to care that all the other nations have tariffs on our goods.
