Long-term unemployment is climbing

The problem isn't that jobs aren't available, it's that more people are unwilling to work.

Recent data shows over 7 million trade jobs in the US, these include in construction, healthcare, automotive, and manufacturing. Elevator installers/repairers, radiation therapists, air traffic controllers, and commercial pilots are some of the highest-paying jobs.
What makes you say that? This has always been the go-to claim of rightys. It is demeaning and judgmental. Trump's tariffs are hurting the economy.

Long-term unemployment is climbing

As the labor market continues to show signs of weakening, the number of Americans experiencing long-term unemployment has climbed to a post-pandemic high, The Washington Post reports. As of August, over 1.9 million people have been unemployed for six months or more, up from about 1 million in early 2023. While the current level is historically associated with economic downturns, one expert points to the present “low-hire, low-fire environment.” The overall unemployment rate has remained relatively low, but finding a job is very challenging.

trump is hoping to fake a few more months of good economic numbers at the cost of a decade or two of bad inflation numbers.
Agreed. It's why he shut down the BLS and imposed his own numbers. Only the MAGA morons are buying it, not business owners.

Flying blind into bad times... trumpers will say not to worry, because everything will magically work out. The rest of us know that things do not magically work out.

Things will get very dark......way worse than the Great Depression because society is much weaker now.....and almost never can any men be found.
