One third of americans still think invading iraq was a great idea.

One third of americans (approximately) self identify as die hard republicans.


Do you think its remotely possibly there's a correlation here? That this "one-third" demographic, is the same demographic on all these issues?

Your link says nothing about numbers regarding invading Iraq and it doesn't list people who claim to be Republicans let alone "die hard" Republicans.

And 27% of Democrats believe Saddam was involved in 9/11 according to your poll.
 
It only comes down to making a few educated guesses there, CA.

A lot of Republicans have simply lost their minds during the Bush years. Just look at how the current crop of GOP candidates are talking.

It's one of his legacies; the loss of reason....

I think they think mini Ghestapo faith is more important than supporting Bush, he just happens to be head bible thumper in charge right now.:clink:
