LAS VEGAS — Organizers say about 10,000 people registered to vote via text at the Women's March rally in Las Vegas.

The Las Vegas Sun reports that the rally on Sunday launched a national registration movement in which officials hope to sign up 1 million new voters.

Organizers say about 20,000 people attended the Las Vegas event, meaning half of the participants registered to vote.

The national movement is using a social media phrase dubbed #PowerToThePolls.

The Women's March group is also looking to expand its efforts by paying swing-state artists to create work that encourages politician activism.

Registering is a GOOD thing ... wouldn't you agree?

When you're looking at a 3 Million Vote margin .... every Vote matters

The actual vote margin was 77. Nevada went for Democrat Hillary in 2016. Even if all of the 10,000 that registered voted for the Democrat in 2020, it wouldn't change a thing for Nevada.

really?......you realize none of those 3 million votes mattered, right?......you can register another 2,000,000 in California if you want.......meanwhile, the Republicans concentrate on converting one state at a time.......(gosh, I didn't give the secret away, did I?)......

Michigan went for Trump by 11,000.....my county went for Trump by 12,000........you are welcome......

That's why an Electoral Wave is Coming ....

BTW ... SIZE really matters to Donny

I was pointing out that Bourbon's excitement over 10,000 registering to vote isn't that big of a deal in the Presidential election since Nevada went Democrat in 2016.

Also, registering to vote during an emotional moment is no guarantee someone will vote.

I'm not arguing with you......

That's why an Electoral Wave is Coming ....

That's what you Liberals said in 2016. Hillary wasn't supposed to lose. It was her time. She played the good little Democrat and stood in the background when Democrats placed skin color over reproductive organ in the hierarchy of support. So sad how she lost something she wasn't supposed to lose to someone you lefties consider an idiot.

I'm not arguing with you......

Didn't take it that way.

Hillary won approximately 27,000 more popular votes that Trump in Nevada giving her 6 Electoral Votes. Had those 10,000 been registered and voted in 2016 for Hillary, the margin would have been 37,000 but the 6 would have still gone to Hillary.

Bourbon seems to think those 10,000 more would make a difference.

I also noticed that the source read, "Organizers say . . ."

Haven't a clue

I think Michigan will move even farther to the right.....
this will be a big test for Detroit and "what do they have to lose".....
