12 Weeks

Anyonw who can deny that this is a child has no heart.

I guess you could say that. I would actually go as far to say that the left has become the culture of death in our society. They twist words to justify killing not only the young, but those they deem less fit or unworthy to live.

I am trying to put a finger on other regimes in history that have taken similar positions, but I struggle to do so

Could one such regime have had his NAZI ass handed to him in, oh I don't know, 1945?!?!

Yes, that would be one. Another would be Stalin, Lenin, Mao, Pol Pot and on and on and on.

Amazingly all of these regimes have one thing in common. They were all going to deliver the poor masses from their oppressors the capitalists and usher in a more fair, just world. They all advocated social justice and equality for all.

But, as Orwell said in Animal Farm, some are more equal than others in these regimes.

All of these pious regimes fail for the same reasons

1) They ignore basic economics and think that their superior wisdom can overcome basic truisms
2) They ignore human nature which at its core is competitive in nature and will never succumb to collectivism no matter how much re-education you subject it to. Oh, some will gladly abrogate their liberties for the promise of security. The Founders knew that all too well because they were scholars of history. Sadly some never learn from history and as they say, are doomed to repeat it.

Anyone thinking that the United States is a bastion of freedom is deluding themselves. Comparing it to less free countries is merely saying you are the skinniest kid in fat camp

The left is the culture of death, but republicans advocate for use of the death penalty and increased use of military force. How does that work again?

No, it's because these regimes all ended up authoritarian - something Marx never supported. And Orwell was a democratic socialist, by the way.

Let me explain it again, then....

Pro-life and pro-choice or pro-abortion and anti-abortion are terms and labels that only have a significance when talking about the single issue of abortion....

Pro-life and its counter-point, pro-choice have absolutely nothing to do with war or the death penalty....nothing....

Those labels were coined for the abortion issue only.

Authoritarian....just like the Democrats are becoming in demanding and implementing their social agenda under penalty of law or just by the fact that
they happen to be in positions of authority..........we get it.

Schools expelling 5 and 6 years old kids for possessing a flat sheet of paper with a corner torn off because it resembles a handgun.....or a kid
that points his fingers in the age old shape of a make-believe gun....thats how ridiculously far the left is carrying their craziness....

So that picture is a lie ?....Is that it....you seen to have done the research.

Yes, it's a lie. The skin isn't translucent, there's no umbilical cord attachment, the head's wrong and the facial features are too well developed.

In the UK, abortions are illegal after 24 weeks unless the mother's life is at risk.

I'm not sure anymore what restrictions the US might have....I don't think there are any....we even allow 'partial-birth abortions' as far as know
.....we're free, free, free....

Whatever floats your boat, as long one doesn't deny what they are doing with euphemisms and simplistic rationalizations.....the law
is the law.....

I've never heard anyone try to make that argument. It's wimpy, & intellectually dishonest.

Pro-life is supposed to be about the "sanctity of life." It is inherently hypocritical for someone to call themselves "pro-life," and then support something that is as devastating to life as the Iraq invasion.

Sorry if that hypocrisy bothers you, but that's the way it is.
