I believe that we have surpassed 130K deaths so far, with 4.5 months to go and a huge spike in cases, so I wouldn't be surprise to see over 200k by election day.
 
Unfortunately, the pandemic is hitting the United States at a time when its chief executive is a fucking moron.

The fact that our chief executive is a fucking moron is probably the main reason why we suck at containing the virus and deaths from the virus.

Ya gotta cut the fucking moron in the Oval Office a break, because he is a fucking moron.

tRump is many things but totally ignorant isnt one of them. Look how he has "conditioned" a good number of our "less than average intelligence" members to defend his actions.

We got hit Wed night and a long rain yesterday afternoon into late evening. Nothing supposedly coming today, but expect more later this evening.
Farmers are happy the rains came, crops were starting to look dried, but look healthy now.
 
Yesterday was a three plus hour drenching...coming down in buckets.

We needed rain...the yards and gardens were looking brown.

Luckily, the rain started as a slow downpour, so not a lot of run-off. Then the ground became soaked enough to handle the drenching.

I gotta go over and check my aunt's basement later this morning. If her sump pump kicks out...gonna be using the wet vac today.

Actually he is functionally ignorant, apart from one skill: conning people. That's why I don't blame some of the dupes here for defending him - they're fucking morons.

Others, however, know what they're doing AND STILL DO IT.
