18% of Republicans support attack on Congress

Approximately 18% of Republicans support the pro-Trump rioters who stormed the Capitol on Wednesday, according to a PBS NewsHour/Marist poll released Friday.

63% of all respondents believe Trump deserves "a great deal or good amount of blame" for Wednesday's events. Among Republicans, however, 69% say Trump is "at little or no fault."

An earlier survey released by YouGov on Thursday found that 45% of Republicans backed the attack, while 43% said they opposed it. Six percent of Republicans were unsure. A further six percent said they were unaware of the events.

So who should we believe? Do half of Republicans support sedition, or is it only one in five?

Based on my exhaustive research of this forum, I estimate that 90 percent of JPP conservatives supported the attack on the U.S. Capitol.
