Approximately 18% of Republicans support the pro-Trump rioters who stormed the Capitol on Wednesday, according to a PBS NewsHour/Marist poll released Friday.
63% of all respondents believe Trump deserves "a great deal or good amount of blame" for Wednesday's events. Among Republicans, however, 69% say Trump is "at little or no fault."

An earlier survey released by YouGov on Thursday found that 45% of Republicans backed the attack, while 43% said they opposed it. Six percent of Republicans were unsure. A further six percent said they were unaware of the events.

So who should we believe? Do half of Republicans support sedition, or is it only one in five?
