2 DOGS KILLED AFTER ATTACK

Authorities killed a pit bull and a Labrador retriever-chow mix after they attacked a Paris woman and her Labrador retriever Sunday morning. Sabrina Campbell, 30, was treated at a hospital for five puncture wounds to her right thigh, Bourbon animal control officer Floyd Campbell said. The woman's dog, which received mouth, jaw and leg injuries, ran off after the incident but was found later several blocks away. Campbell said he would pursue charges against the dogs' owner.

apparently the lab had to be put down because of the injuries suffered from the evil Pit bull.
 
the article was poorly written, sounds like the lab maybe tried to protect their owner.

Poor writing skills abound in papers and such now. Perhaps I am qualified to be a journalist now ?

In all seriousness, if there weren't any feline fatalities, this story is just not a story.
