Republicans are now calling for "suspending" the Constitution, and declaring martial law. That is a coup.
Flynn was forced to "retire" early by the military establishment. They did not like his "chaotic" management style, use of conspiracy theories, and close relationship with female Russian spies. He was a kiss up kick down type of person, who in the end no one liked. He was also a Russian asset.
Even without him, the military is not going to support a coup. It just is not going to happen. They are not going to "oversee" an illegal election.

the president is the lawful commander of the military.
There is no part of the Constitution that says that trump can suspend the Constitution because he does not like the results. In fact, there is no talk of suspending the Constitution anywhere in the Constitution.
