From the day it was made into law, I for one have never really appreciated nor celebrated black history month. I thought it too condescending, too superficial and fake. Watching all these sorry ass black churches pimpin Feburary dollars out of the feds and seniors, while every inch of real estate around them breams with poverty and violence, so no never liked black history month...UNTIL NOW.

That half time event, was the most viewed event in SB history...133.5 million tuned in to watch this 5'6 inch brother stick it to the NFL, Trump and any white mf's not feeling his vibe. He has gained more fans with this one performance than any performer in SB history....from AROUND THE WORLD. For a second there I thought we agreed. I thought it was an especially historic Black History Month this year. Then I quickly realized you have a very different reason. You think it's badass because some rapper performed at a half-time show. Wow To me, you're demonstrating exactly how much work this and future generations have to do to bring us back from the brink.

I thought you were referring to the uplifting event at the White House with many great people and Trump giving a great speech and announced that he was appointing Alice Marie Johnson as his “pardon czar.” Remember? She was convicted of a drug offense and served 21 years before Trump commuted her sentence in 2018 and pardoned her in 2020, would now advise him on clemency cases.

Or maybe you'd mention that he revealed plans to include a statue of Prince Estabrook, (look him up) in his proposed National Garden of American Heroes. Among others he mentioned people like Harriet Tubman, Frederick Douglass, and Martin Luther King Jr. for the project.

The event was incredibly positive and uplifting, it focused on a great future for all Americans. To think Some over-rated sanctimonious rapper with 150 million views is even mentioned let alone the center of what makes this a special Black History month is utterly ridiculous. Cool fact, some kids video 'Baby Shark' hit 500 million views in like a couple of days, WOW.

I'll admit, I don't know shit about the rapper, but one of the first things I saw when I looked him up was someone saying "he's a man of the elite, not of the streets" So.....whatever.

All I know is that contrary to the entire left-wing narrative, what I saw at the White House was a good reason for hope and optimism going forward.

It's hard [and sad] to believe that the very ethnicity that literally invented America music--from Scott Joplin to Buddy Bolden to Louis Armstrong to Bessie Smith to Robert Johnson to Duke Ellington to Ella Fitzgerald to Charlie Parker to John Coltrane to Aretha Franklin and so many others
can be polluting the air with the shit that they're making now.

We need far fewer Kanya Wests and Kendrick Lamars and
far more Wynton Marsalises and Jon Batistes.
