28-year-old Ahmad Jamal Khamees Alhendi went before a judge on charges of breach of peace of a high and aggravated nature, conveying false information about a bomb threat, and operating an unregistered vehicle.

Alhendi was arrested following a traffic stop on Interstate 85 near mile marker 44.

According to the South Carolina Department of Public Safety, a State Transport Police officer pulled over a tractor trailer due to a missing license plate.

During the traffic stop, Alhendi told the officer that an explosive device was inside the commercial vehicle, officials said.

All lanes of the interstate were closed and bomb squads from the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office and the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division responded to the scene.

No explosive devices were found and the interstate reopened about five hours later.

The tractor trailer was registered to Globe Transportation of Illinois, the South Carolina Department of Public Safety said.

Alhendi is being held in the Greenville County Detention Center on $20,238 bond.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) placed a hold on Alhendi, a Jordanian national.

NO, IT'S NOT @Cypress - THIS TIME

Washington County, AR:

On Tuesday, Mario Guereca-Vazquez was arrested for Aggravated Residential Burglary, Attempted Rape, Stalking, Voyeurism, and Resisting Arrest.

It is reported that he has an immigration detainer due to his "immigration status".

The report said a Ring device on the front door recorded a nude man in a mask attempting to open the door.

After failing, he reportedly went to a door on the side of the house and was able to enter.

"'She realized that it was not her husband and a nude male wearing a face mask got on top of her,' the report explained. 'He placed a roll of duct tape on the bed as he crawled on.'"

The report went on to say that Guereca-Vazquez held her down despite her telling him to stop.

The woman then instructed an Amazon device to call 911, and the man ran away.
