APP - 235,000 Jobs Created in January. Thank you Trump

Look at the trend, watch the Fed

The idea that the change in administration is what is causing the numbers is silly. Economists learn early that statistics are most reliable in the context of trend. The job numbers in January fit perfectly along the track of job creation and employment statistics since the beginning of the recovery under President You-know-who.

The economy is at the edge of full employment. Trump's yakking about jobs is five years behind the times. Our problem now isn't jobs, its wages. Full employment in an economy where almost half of the full-time workers can't afford a decent life doesn't solve our problems. Remember: under slavery, everyone had a job.

Trump is President. He gets the credit. That is how it works.

Had the number been small, make no mistake the left would be claiming it was all Trump's fault. That is how the game works
