As part of its anti-immigration reforms, the Trump administration rejected over 25 per cent of all fresh H-1B visa applications in the financial year 2018-2019.

Indian tech companies, which rely heavily on the H-1B applications for rendering services to clients based in the US, have been the most hit due to strict visa approval norms.

Trump is obeying Musk in the policy proposal that we increase the cap in H1b visas, and important even more Indians.

I suspect Trump's deference to Musk has to do with the fact Musk spent half a billion $$ to get Trump elected.

Even most MAGA morons on this board are mindlessly and uncritically backing Musk and Trump's promise of bringing more Indians and Filipinos to the USA
