30,000 drug convictions now shown to be attainved via criminalistic corruption

Annie Dookhan was supposed to be an independent witness, a state chemist coolly analyzing drug evidence for the court. But her e-mails over the last nine years, obtained by the Globe, vividly detail her close relationship with prosecutors, including a man to whom she poured her heart out, and her strong desire to put suspects behind bars.

The correspondence also raises questions about what role prosecutors may have played in encouraging Dookhan’s *alleged misconduct.

so tell me again, libs and cons, why we have to trust our justice system? is it really the best one now??????

Obviously. It's a tragic story.

But it's not like she's getting away with it.

Yeah, it's not like the sexual predator that lived next door that finally got caught was "getting away with it"... seriously. Tens of thousands of improper convictions.

WTF? What kind of analogy is that? I said it was tragic.

What are you & STY looking for, anyway? Dismantle the system because bad people get hired, and head on back to good ol' vigilante justice?

Bad people get hired, and bad things happen. I don't think I've seen anyone claiming the system is perfect. But she got caught, and she will be punished.

Wanna place a wager on that? I think she will get off.

this is what I don't understand about people like you and yurt. this system that you seem to revere at times, ignore at times, and then ridicule at times all based upon the outcome of some hyped up case. Our system of justice has been corrupted, by lawyers and judges within the system, to guarantee levels of immunity for it's agents and actors even to the point of no punishment could ever be administered because of complete immunity or else a prosecutor might feel that they couldn't do their job effectively. And when people step up themselves to try to show you proles how bad things get, you ridicule the activist. idiots.

So what's the big plan, STY? Get rid of the cops, the courts, the trials - arm all of the citizens, and let frontier justice play itself out?

I'm sure there will be no mistakes then. I'm sure everyone will behave spendidly.

well what do you think? when the judges that are installed via your supposed representatives hijack your system of justice to shield their agents from any criminal penalties, you have three choices. press the fuck out of your senators to start impeachment proceedings (never going to happen because most everybody is too fucking partisan), start nullifying any and all criminal trials for violence against said government agents (never going to happen because most everybody is too stupid to believe you actually have a right to protect yourself against your government), or kill them all and start over again (never going to happen because most everybody is too afraid of everybody else), so I guess we're basically just fucked and you should drop to your knees and wait for orders, slave.

That's not a real answer, because you don't have one. You just like to bitch & call everyone else a coward.

What is the plan, STY? In STY's perfect world, how do we have security without corruption? How do we have justice without people who fail and willfully abuse the system?

How do we remove human nature from the process - ANY process?

Let's hear it. Let's hear the big solution for once.
