Will never forget. Finals were scheduled to start in a couple of days and most everyone was on campus studying. The verdict came and sh*t just went down. In my dorm room you could see flames in the distance, it was that close. Because of our location they actually ended up having the national guard stationed next to campus. They made our finals optional, you could keep your grade that you had or take the test. Not surprisingly, many opted out and were like 'F this, I'm getting the hell out of LA'. Me and some dorm mates ended up going to Vegas for a few days. That was a wild time.
