4 arrested in carjacking slay

Four people are in custody six days after the senseless carjack killing of 30-year-old Dustin Friedland, a lawyer who was shot in the parking lot of an upscale New Jersey mall in front of his horrified wife, authorities said.



The heinous and wanton crime at The Mall at Short Hills sparked a massive manhunt for the cold-blooded thugs. Details were not immediately clear on how the FBI strung together a case against the four men.

Friedland, a beloved husband and lawyer from Hoboken, had just finished loading holiday gifts into his silver 2012 Range Rover when two men ambushed him so they could steal the SUV. He never had a chance — the men shot him four times before he had a chance to resist or question his greedy attackers.

I wonder how many of these thugs came from dysfunctional homes with mommys with several baby daddies and drug abuse?
 
I'm sorry; but in cases like this, I think that if found guilty then the death penalty should be automatic and they should be executed.
It is my belief that one of the reasons people do this; is because they figure they won't be forfeiting their life, if found guilty.
Once again, I know this is simplistic in nature; but he premise is still sound.
 
"Hanif," " Karif," and "Basim.", sounds muslim to me. Should be able to charge them with a hate crime for killing a jew out Christmas shopping
 
He had a Range Rover and they didn't. Income inequality...they were just redressing 300 years of oppression, weren't they?
