A 43-foot-tall nude statue of former president Donald Trump was put up near a Las Vegas interstate and local Republicans are strongly condemning it and calling the art piece 'deplorable.' I don't see the problem with the nude statue, because Trump is deplorable?!!

A 43-foot-tall nude statue of Donald Trump was put up in Las Vegas recently, but while the art piece is simply a spectacle for some, Republicans have condemned it, as well as knocking Kamala Harris and Democrats in the process.

The towering 6,000-pound foam display could be seen near Interstate 15 and is a part of the "Crooked and Obscene Tour," Las Vegas TV station KTNV reported.

The meaning behind the "Crooked and Obscene" title comes from the "controversial aspects attributed to both the figure represented and the nature of the installation itself," KTNV reported. The anonymous artist told the outlet the installation "serves as a commentary on the transparency — or lack thereof — in politics, challenging viewers to think critically about political influence."

It was unclear Tuesday if the statue was still standing.

Nevada Republican Party 'strongly condemns' naked Trump statue

While the statue may elicit laughs or discussions, the Nevada Republican Party does not see the work as art.

"The Nevada Republican Party strongly condemns the deplorable statue of President Donald J. Trump recently hung from a crane along Interstate 15," the party wrote in a statement shared Monday on X. "While families drive through Las Vegas, they are forced to view this offensive marionette, designed intentionally for shock value rather than meaning full dialogue."

The Nevada GOP's statement also targeted Harris and her fellow Democrats by saying they are continuing to "prioritize shock value over substance."

"President Trump and Republicans are focused on delivering results that matter—reducing inflation, securing our borders, creating jobs, and ensuring a brighter future for all Americans," the statement continued. "President Trump is the only candidate in this race standing up for working men and women across Nevada."
