Daylight savings doesn't really save any energy, since people usually keep the lights on in the day anyway. And it's not like lighting is a huge energy drain anyway. A lot of recreational facilities like the extra revenue from having an extra hour of daylight. Perhaps we should just make daylight savings time the standard time then; the switching between is what's frustrating.
