This is a most informative piece that covers a topic I never saw before this morning. Ashley Herzog breaks down the nationalities of the survivors and those who died on the Titanic:

It was true then, and it’s true now: Not all cultures are created equal.

Parenthetically, some years ago I posted six videos that damn near convinced me that it was the Olympic that sank —— not the Titanic. Those videos are no longer available. Maybe you will have more luck tracking them down:

This line in the article puzzled me:
"Italians were not, in fact, the World's Worst Ethnic Group. There were only two on board, a married couple in second class."

Whether they were the worst ethnic group or not, there appear to have been a lot more than two.

Italians aboard the Titanic numbered more than 50: two restaurant's directors L. Gatti, 36 years, and F. Scavino, two superintendents, Giuseppe Bochet, from savoy and Nannini: 17 waiters, 17 assistants some butlers, besides more than a dozen of waiters transferred from Olympic to Titanic at the last moment, and of those the names are unknown.
Here are the names of the waiters and of the assistants belonging to Titanic's crew ...
