Locke is an “ambassador” of a movement where he and other pastors around the country appear at rallies and tent revivals preaching Donald Trump’s fraudulent claims that the election was stolen as a new holy war, according to Amanda Tyler, executive director of the Baptist Joint Committee for Religious Liberty, an organization dedicated to religious freedom.

Neighbors have complained to authorities about noise, growing crowds, unauthorized construction and public safety threats that accompany events run by Locke, including two for which members of the neo-fascist Proud Boys provided “security.” Locke blessed the members from the pulpit and later posed for pictures with them as the Proud Boys flashed white supremacist symbols.

you mean the town is divided. blaming one individual for the actions of free men is sophomoric

pretty damn simplistic. The fact that was he preaches is dangerous and not true means something when you are cloaking yourself in religious vestments. They are the opposite of religious.

Yeah.. that's no white supremacist. They do what they do. I think they like to brawl with ANTIFA. I'd just mow them fucktards down. Fuck them. Commie pieces of shit.

The day they come to my neighborhood is the day many of them die. Homie ain't playin' that. Most likely my black neighbor will be right there with me offing them too. We do not be playin' their retarded bullshit 'round heanh.

We know what's what. This has already been discussed at depth over beers.

"Minneapolis Freedom Fund, a group that took in millions in the days following George Floyd’s death while in the custody of the Minneapolis Police Department – thanks to support from A-list celebrities and political bigwigs, including newly minted vice presidential candidate Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) – bailed out violent criminals as well as anti-racism and anti-police brutality demonstrators, according to a report from a local Minneapolis news outlet."

Why can't delusional, lying scumbags be "religious"? They are worshipping the Golden, or orange, Calf...and money.

First Amendment applies here. Also, their IRS 503c exemption....if they have one....and they probably do. IMO, the IRS should crack down on violators.

https://www.irs.gov/charities-non-p...ns/exemption-requirements-501c3-organizations
To be tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, an organization must be organized and operated exclusively for exempt purposes set forth in section 501(c)(3), and none of its earnings may inure to any private shareholder or individual. In addition, it may not be an action organization, i.e., it may not attempt to influence legislation as a substantial part of its activities and it may not participate in any campaign activity for or against political candidates.

Organizations described in section 501(c)(3) are commonly referred to as charitable organizations. Organizations described in section 501(c)(3), other than testing for public safety organizations, are eligible to receive tax-deductible contributions in accordance with Code section 170.

The organization must not be organized or operated for the benefit of private interests, and no part of a section 501(c)(3) organization's net earnings may inure to the benefit of any private shareholder or individual. If the organization engages in an excess benefit transaction with a person having substantial influence over the organization, an excise tax may be imposed on the person and any organization managers agreeing to the transaction.

Section 501(c)(3) organizations are restricted in how much political and legislative (lobbying) activities they may conduct. For a detailed discussion, see Political and Lobbying Activities. For more information about lobbying activities by charities, see the article Lobbying Issues PDF; for more information about political activities of charities, see the FY-2002 CPE topic Election Year Issues

What does this have to do with the OP?

The Proud Boys have their own problems. I'm surprised they want this exposure. LOL

It's the headline of the linked article, dumbass: A Jan. 6 pastor divides his Tennessee community with increasingly extremist views

When these white supremacist terrorist assholes murder a bunch of Americans later this summer and/or before November 2024, most Americans will demand these violent extremists be taken down to their ankles.

Why not? There were no incidents. Peaceful exposure is positive exposure. Can't bitch about that.

What's interesting about your ill-informed comment is that when I googled "Minneapolis Freedom Fund," with one exception the first 10 returns were from conservative sites crying about the exact same thing you just posted. The one exception was a Wikipedia article about the organization. According to it, the group does bail out the accused, but only those with low-level bail amounts who otherwise would sit in jail until trial. As you know, that could take months if not longer. Our Constitution declares that we are to be presumed innocent, and that bail should be granted except in the most egregious cases. You agree with the Constitution, don't you? Or is it only for ppl with money?

Here, read this article about the Fund and how it works and how it started. It was linked in the Wikipedia article. You're welcome.

University of Minnesota student takes on injustices in the bail system
Freedom Fund nonprofit aims to level the playing field by helping low-income people in Minnesota post bail.

So, because it's not on the left leaning "news," it's not relevant? Ok...
