A reminder about Iran

Iran has NEVER had an army or navy or air force or ICBM that threatened American shores. Nor is there a history of Iran attacking American military bases in the region. And Iran was NOT complicit in any way with 9-11.

Iranians have legitimate reasons for not liking America, as our CIA helped install the Shah Pahlavi via a coup against the DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED Mohammed Mossaddegh ... then trained his secret police the SAVAK. He was eventually over thrown by Ayatollah Khomeini. The losers in both cases were THE PEOPLE, who went from a democracy to an authoritarian to a theocratic government.

Prior to the idiotic attacks by our military via the Orange Oaf, the Straits of Hormuz was open to all commercial traffic.

To date, there are NO IDF military involved in the attacks on Iran. Israel is NOT a member of NATO and is not part of the international NPT ... but they do have nukes with regional delivery missiles.

Netanyahu has LIED for 30 years regarding Iran's nuke capabilities. Dump tore up the Obama agreement with Iran to have inspectors on the ground to monitor against nuke material development. Now it seems after getting American soldiers killed and destabilizing ours and international commerce, a version of the Obama deal is looming on the horizon.

All quite correct.
 
Iran was the most westernized of the Middle Eastern countries. Women were working, attending colleges, driving, and dressing more Western. But they had our oil. From overthrowing Mossadeq and installing the Shah, we have greatly damaged Iran. The Brits and Americans plotted to take their oil. Iran lived under a ruthless dictator for 25 years, thanks to us.
