Sounds like a great way to lose the Votes of the American Working Class. This is right up there with Hillary telling Coal Miners that she plans to eliminate their Jobs.
Not really a winning strategy, in my opinion.

Open borders did not work out well for Merkel or for Germany or for the future of the EU for that matter.
I disagree with Trump stoking fears of rapists, drug dealers, etc., because he doesn't really have to. But I certainly don't agree with open borders. No rational person would.
I actually think you want open borders to increase dim voters and that only because you hate repubs that much, no other reason. The result of open borders would be disastrous, you know that.
If they want to immigrate to the U.S. they have to stand in line and jump thru the hoops like everyone else.
A good start is to learn English and apply for the U.S. military. That has worked for many and it's actually an easier route than packing up and marching to a border that they won't be allowed to cross anyway.

An applicant for asylim has to fill out an I-589. The I-589 requires details on reasons for seeking asylum, thorough explanations of past criminal convictions, and family and background information.

How many will do that
 
Hondurans HAVE to seek asylum in Mexico. Guatemala is designated "unsafe" so Mexico is the acceptable asylum country per the "3rd safe country" rule.
