If Trump manages to re-open the economy prematurely (in defiance of experts)...and the result is that the virus makes a significant resurgence, I predict Trump’s reaction will be…

...to blame the governors for re-opening the economy too early, and...

...to claim that he had advised against the move and warned about the dangers of doing so.

I also predict that the assholes who continue to support him will swear that he did advise against it and that the governors are to blame. They also will intensify their support for him.

That is the sad state of affairs in our country right now.

Our mayor jumped in front of this, I don’t think he’ll listen to Trump, I think he will listen to the experts.
