I don't see how anyone can support mandatory shots for this crap. You only get it thru sexual contact. It is not like measels in transmittion. So make it optional.

Some things to consider

HPV vaccine for all children 11 and up would cost almost a billion dollars.
Long term effects of the vaccine are unproven.
Medicaid program would pay for this program.
Only one company makes this vaccine.
It would be a nice plan for the pharm company that makes this product.
HPV is only sexually transmitted.

This sounds like a good idea to make mandatory?

In KY at least there is an easy opt out provision for parents as with all the childhood vaccines. That is why we still have outbreaks of childhood diseases.

The mandatory issue is all just con hype, at least in the states I have followed it in.
