The rules state no trolling, but a lot the threads are obvious troll threads, not about 'Debate'. Doesn't that defeat the purpose of the forum itself? Highbrow discussions should have better quality control re bait threads.

If you see something, say something. :)

Just report the thread and your reasoning. If the mods agree, they'll move it to an appropriate area.

it's obvious which of the threads are just bait threads and not 'debate' threads. Some have been there a while, so the mods are probably fine with it, I just asked why if the goal is a sub-forum for more 'highbrow' discussions.

Mods are volunteers. If they see something, they'll do something about it, but mostly they just participate like everyone else.

Link a couple thread which you think are flame bait so we can be on the same page.
 
Is there a way to ignore APP threads so they don't appear?
No need to see them is one can't participate in them.
