Yeah, sure. Phony investigations for political purposes are the hallmarks of the Repubs. There is no reason to think they are not going to that well for again. Perhaps they can fold Hillary into it to relive the good times.

You are quite literally living in a fantasy world. trump made up a huge amount of lies about Obama, and continues doing it, and he will never go to prison for those. He may go to prison for his other activity, but not for lying in a political setting.

And just because Republicans block a conviction of trump does not make the allegations lies.

Beyond all that, Schiff is a careful speaker. He could say almost everything he has said in court, and be fine. trump is anything but careful. It is a literal difference in education levels.

The USA has been in decline since appox 1952 by my measure, and I point out that lots over people over the decades have said so but were generally ignored.

I look at our advancements in technology, especially with the internet, and soon with AI, and I see a strong nation. But our infrastructure is crumbling, and we have not even tried to do contact tracing with the pandemic. It is a failure to try, and it seems to be all coming from the right wing.

So trump will meltdown in public, even worse than he has, and the few rightys with unpolluted neurons will see what they voted for and flee. Trump is missing respect for the law and for diplomacy. Those are unforgivable flaws.
