Well retailers and exporting countries can only eat so much and when it hurts their bottom line they will pass on Trumps high tariffs to the Consumer .
And now the US auto makers are getting together and going to Trump asking him to either raise the tariffs on Japan or lower the tariffs on Canada and Mexico , they say if he leaves them the way they are now Japan will flood the American market and their sales / profits will go down and they will have to lay off people here and maybe even shut down some plants.
Trump's tariffs being as high as they are are not good for America and will be passed on to the consumer and could do some real damage to our economy.
And again exporting countries and retailers can only eat so much then they have to raise their prices, Don't blame them put the blame where it belongs right on Trump.
