All Political Roads Lead To The United Nations

It came as no surprise to me when James Tobin (1918 – 2002) of Tobin Tax fame won the 1981 Nobel Prize for Economics. Mr. Tobin claimed he was for free markets at the same time he was a big supporter of globalization —— globalization being doublespeak for U.N. taxing authority.

The Emancipatory Potential of the Tobin Tax

Was I the only one that saw a big contradiction in Tobin’s tax? (The Tobin Tax on financial transactions was proposed in 1972.)

The U.N. works tirelessly to acquire permanent taxing authority through U.N. treaties; especially environmental treaties.

Parenthetically, passing H.R. 193 is unlikely at this time.

Then-Congressman Ron Paul’s original bill has been in the hopper since 1997 under different titles, but it never got out of committee irrespective of which party was in charge.

United Nations treaties represent the U.N.’s best chance of acquiring the authority to tax rather than relying on national governments who can pull their funding at any time. The next best thing to getting out of the U.N. is a time limit to eliminate treaty shelf life. If it is not ratified in the two years after it is signed it is dead forever. If it is not ratified before the president whose administration signed it leaves office it is dead forever.

Hell, there is a treaty Jimmy Carter’s administration signed that is still sitting on the shelf. Kids born in 1980, the year the Carter Administration signed the CEDAW, are now 38 years old. I am pretty sure that 99 percent of Americans born since 1980 know nothing about the attacks on American freedoms incorporated in CEDAW, yet it can be pulled off the shelf and ratified at any time.

U.N. taxation by another name is hidden in every U.N. treaty. The big bite came along when the U.N. found the environment; ergo, then-Vice President Al Gore’s United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (Kyoto Protocol).

When thinking about U.N. taxes note that environmental taxation will be at least as oppressive as the tax on income. Example: The EPA is a de facto U.N. agency imposing taxes (fines) on industry and individuals although the money collected does not go directly to the U.N. —— at least not yet —— while every dollar the EPA collects legitimates manmade climate change phony science.

Parenthetically, giving the U.N. control over the US military is the only thing U.N.-loving Democrats have been angling for longer than giving the U.N. taxing authority.

NOTE: Soviet Communists flocked to the environmental fraud on the day the Soviet Union imploded. In the 28 years since the ‘Implosion Heard Round the world’ —— U.N. environmental parasites made more inroads in this country’s sovereignty than the Soviet Union ever accomplished throughout its brutal 74 year life span .

Every United Nations treaty contains a way for the U.N. to levy and collect a tax. Global warming taxation (Cap & Trade) is the best known of the lot. Surrendering control of the Internet to the United Nations has the potential to succeed where every other scheme to give the United Nations taxing authority fell short of global government goals:

After the Chicago sewer rat betrayed the country the United Nations wasted no time gearing up.

The United Nations is considering a new Internet tax targeting the largest Web content providers, including Google, Facebook, Apple, and Netflix, that could cripple their ability to reach users in developing nations.

CLARIFICATION: I am no fan of Big Tech. Conversely, they are the lesser of the evils.

Finally, all roads lead to Rome referred to a network of highways:

The saying “all roads lead to Rome” has been used since the Middle Ages, and refers to the fact that the Roman Empire’s roadways radiated outwards from its capital. But does that maxim still apply today, now that we have so many more roads leading to so many more places?

Today, ALL POLITICAL ROADS LEAD TO THE UNITED NATIONS. Upchuck Schumer will pave the road with tax dollars:

Schumer sent a letter To President Donald Trump asking for green energy tax credits as part of the deal.
