Interesting. The most unpopular presidents ever were Truman, Nixon, and George II. George II is unique in that his entire term has been one gigantic decline, from 90% to 25%.

Interesting how Truman has been viewed very differently by historians than he was during his Presidency.
 
Bush's low rating is the main reason we will have a completion of the sea change in 08
Clinton two will prove to be even more popular than I.
 
Its interesting to look back at people like Ike and Reagan. They did not have the what people remember as poll numbers.

That's because of the Marshal Plan, NATO, the UN and international law, and the Truman Doctrine of containing soviet communism.

I don't think Bush has accomplished anything that will be noteworthy.

Only if the "Oil Wars" become more pronounced and violent destroying far more than what they have so far.

Imagine a future, created by the short-sighted, that enables G W B to become a newly minted "good" President according to historians.
 
Bush will be known for his corruption. It has been extensive and when the records are open to the puplic it will be clear cut.
