All-women jury chosen for George Zimmerman's trial

Florida law only requires six jurors and it was the prosecution who loaded the jury with women thinking that women would be more sympathetic to their arguments since a teenage child was killed.

How do you know that? Is that what you assume they did, or is that what the prosecution said they did? I do not know how anyone can live in this country and not notice that a majority of white women vote in racial rather than gender solidarity...who would be surprised their racial solidarity trumped their identity as mothers? (assuming they are mothers).

I never saw the gender as meaning shit. I saw all white and couldn't frigging believe it from the start. THis is so fucking 1960. I am not one who believed he would be convicted - I knew there would have to be at least one or two stone cold racists on that particulary jury, considering its demographics. I figured hung jury. I am slightly surprised they managed to seat six actual stone cold racists...and that the prosecution didn't see that...supposedly. (misfeasance or malfeasance...)

But I am not that surprised.

How did Obama twice win a state so full of racists?
 
The state and the defense get a limited number of peremptory challenges and as many challenges for cause as they need. The prosecution was not solely responsible for the make up of this jury, the defense did their part as well. Guess the knock knock joke wasn't as bad as everyone though.

That was an opinion of some so called jury expert on CNN.

According to some of the liberals, on this site, the Jury was all white; because they consider Hispanics as white, as opposed to a while back when they were promoting Hispanics as a race.
