What he implied was that America should move away from the Gordon Gekko ethics in business, which I do believe most Americans wouldn't find a problem

Fun little tidbit here, one of the real-life people that Gordon Gekko was based on admitted that Bernie Sanders would be the best president for the economy. So even Gordon Gekko wouldn't vote for Gordon Gekko.
