A major difference between the OJ trial and the Chauvin trial is that OJ wasn't photographed once much less recorded six ways from Sunday.
That point branches off both into technological security advances such as private, user-friendly, easy-to-install security systems but also the people who embrace security technology.
My theory is that the political parties have flip-flopped over the idea of technology with the Republicans becoming Luddites fearing technological advances and the Democrats being a little-to-exuberant about the technological future without considering the consequences.
