Very clever, Bourbon.
(are you and signalmankenneth in some kind of competition for 'Most Wittiest Visual' on JPP politics forum?)

From an economic perspective what is considered going backwards and what is considered going forward?

I think more 'Liberal' types think of it in a 'social' sense. 'Gay Marriage', Equality for Women', 'Multiculturalism', etc.

You've got the 'Liberals' by the short hairs on the 'economic' part, cawacko. They've got themselves locked into (what was previously a Republican position) 'Globalism'. Shipping American jobs overseas for maximum profit. Importing cheap Labor to compete with and drive down American Worker wages.

I agree...American voting should be just like driving...you need a photo ID;)

No, you need to register and get a license. Voters do that. Once they get that, they are allowed to vote, unless they are living in a Republican state.

They also have to pass a written and driving test.

Yes, because the Democrats are so progressive funding Wahhabi head-choppers in Saudi Arabia who throw gays off of rooftops and who don't consider women to be human beings. But I guess as long as they pay lip service to "muh progressivism" in U.S.A. and appear in gay pride parades, the destruction of Libya doesn't matter, huh?
