PHOENIX (AP) — A 9-year-old boy looking for help after his mother crashed their van in the southern Arizona desert was rescued by a man entering the U.S. illegally, who stayed with him until help arrived the next day, an official said.
The 45-year-old woman, who eventually died while awaiting help, had been driving on a U.S. Forest Service road in a remote area just north of the Mexican border when she lost control of her van on a curve on Thanksgiving, Santa Cruz County Sheriff Tony Estrada said.

The van vaulted into a canyon and landed 300 feet from the road, he said. The woman, from Rimrock, north of Phoenix, survived the impact but was pinned inside, Estrada said.

Her son, unhurt but disoriented, crawled out to get help and was found about two hours later by Jesus Manuel Cordova, 26, of Magdalena de Kino in the northern Mexican state of Sonora. Unable to pull the mother out, he comforted the boy while they waited for help.

The woman died a short time later.

He was probably busy putting coke balloons in it while laughing maniacally and stealing our welfare. Illegal immigrants recieve all of our federal welfare, and all roads are built for illegal immigrants. It's like we're second class citiznes. And what do they do with all of htis? They use it to smuggle drugs. Think about how many crimes NEVER WOULD HAVE HAPPENED HAD NO ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS BEEN HERE?!1?1!?! THINK OF THE CHILDREN~!!!!!!!!1!./12.1!!!!12@!@

Yes, Desh, immigrants are people, too, and are capable of human acts of compassion--- no one is arguing that. What people seem most upset about (as far as I can tell) is that they are here ILLEGALLY.

Hummm...really....?

because you hire them to cut your grass.

Then please explain why we find most of them in many other industries...carpentry.manufacturing,airports,food sevice, security, high tech, oil processing the list goes on and on...!
Because these industries have gone to cheap labor replacing American workers who did these jobs...for those who will give up benefits and work cheaper...sending their incomes to their families from whence they came 'Illegally'

A plyable , cautious worker who expects no loyalty from their employer and will work for sub par wages. They never complain and never alert the athourities of any of your illegal and unsafe practices and will work how ever many hours you tell them to. 80 to 20 hours at any time of the day or day of the week.

What a deal for the corporations huh?

I'm borrowing this from one of my more knowledgeable friends:

* Trade has had no discernible, negative effect on the number of jobs in the U.S. economy. Our economy today is at full employment, with 16.5 million more people working than a decade ago.
* Trade accounts for only about 3 percent of dislocated workers.Technology and other domestic factors displace far more workers than does trade.
* Average real compensation per hour paid to American workers, which includes benefits as well as wages, has increased by 22 percent in the past decade.
* Median household income in the United States is 6 percent higher in real dollars than it was a decade ago at a comparable point in the previous business cycle. Middle-class households have been moving up the income ladder, not down.
* The net loss of 3.3 million manufacturing jobs in the past decade has been overwhelmed by a net gain of 11.6 million jobs in sectors where the average wage is higher than in manufacturing. Two-thirds of the net new jobs created since 1997 are in sectors where workers earn more than in manufacturing.
* The median net worth of U.S. households jumped by almost one-third between 1995 and 2004, from $70,800 to $93,100.

BB, do you have any actual disagreement with the statistics, other than your bullshit belief that no statistic can be valid? You say something is wrong with the statistics? OK, what is it?

Thank you! I was about to turn a bit nasty, this is much better. :clink:

Oh, right. Illegally. Yeah, like that's such a BFD.

When was the last time you exceeded a speed limit? Or changed lanes without signaling? Or jaywalked, for that matter?

What the illegal-haters never seem to be able to answer is the simple question: why is crossing the border illegally such a heinous crime? Inquiring minds want to know.

I already addressed that!
