you can also amp up the signal to noise ratio but posting false locations, false places where you have been, changing your age around, changing your job title around, so no one can get a read on what is real and what isn't.

make sure your usernames across sites are disconnected as much as possible, don't refer to other user profiles of yours etc

assume anything you post online will be online forever

make sure people can't easily find out your email address, that can link you very easily to lots of other info

Try to have email accounts for "Real life" and internet seperate, so if some stalker psycho wants to invade your real life space, they'll hit a dead end

change names on JPP, so if people want to search for a particular name of yours it'll be harder to come up :)
