First off, how did he lie? For the first days after the tragedy MAGA was portraying the shooter as everything from a trans to a card carrying Antifa member. He did not lie, and what he said was anything but attacking Kirk

The FCC isn’t the arbitrary of who lies and who doesn’t, if it were, three quarters of the infotainment channels would never get a license. And Kimmel’s ratings weren’t any different than all of late night TV, in fact, better than some, plus it is Internet where most people watched his show
