Andrew Carnagie quote

Andrew Carnegie (Scots: [kɑrˈnɛːɡi], English: /kɑːrˈnɛɡi/ kar-NEG-ee;[2][3][note 1] November 25, 1835 – August 11, 1919) was a Scottish-American industrialist and philanthropist. Carnegie led the expansion of the American steel industry in the late 19th century and became one of the richest Americans in history.[5] He became a leading philanthropist in the United States, Great Britain, and the British Empire. During the last 18 years of his life, he gave away around $350 million (roughly $5.5 billion in 2021),[6] almost 90 percent of his fortune, to charities, foundations and universities.[7] His 1889 article proclaiming "The Gospel of Wealth" called on the rich to use their wealth to improve society, expressed support for progressive taxation and an estate tax, and stimulated a wave of philanthropy.

Ask your self why others try to tell you helping others makes you weak and causes failure?

Then SHUN those people and their advice

Carnagie was a man of compassion for his fellow man

He helped others with glee

This is the main reason the Republican Party is a study in failure

The only thing they do passionately is hate

We all have misconceptions about what is liberal and what is conservative.

The truth is, we are all liberal and we are all conservative to a degree.

We may slant more in one direction overall, but that is not to say that we don't possess attributes of both.

It's one of those sliding scale kinda' THANGS'!

This is why we need both parties to represent us in Washington- BECAUSE WE ARE ALL IN THIS THANG' TOGETHER! [Geeko Sportivo]

Instead of running to the extreme poles- we all need to be moving a little closer towards the equator!

Was Carnegie the Donald Trump of his day?

Starting with nothing but a few hundred million from his pa, Trump made a great fortune. Like Carnegie he gave away much of his money to the less fortunate, especially fallen women.

Trump founded a university, but without a Mellon. He wrote at least twenty books. Carnegie wrote books too, but he didn’t have to cope all his life with pseudologia (look it up) or porcine nescience.

Endowed with unrivalled insight into the roots of America, Trump was the greatest president ever! Carnegie could have been second greatest, but he lacked our hero’s dedication and so never ran.

Somebody wrote that for him. Yeah, there were no airports in the 1700s. He probably skimmed that wrong.
