I read he's declared for the Mayor's race. As Marion Barry, Mark Sanford and other politicians have shown name recognition can take you a long way even if there is scandal attached to it. For those who are following does it look like he's the favorite right now? Are the Republicans running anyone who can win? Anyone running as an Independent?
