Any minds being changed?

Posting on this forum seems like a total waste of time. The two sides are far apart and dug in. Are any minds going to be changed by what we post? Will one side believe anything posted by the other? or will an exchange of juvenile insults always be the result?

This country is on its way out, Unless we all decide to forget our petty differences (mostly created by the media) and decide to move forward with what is best and right for our country, the USA is history.

Nobody changes their mind here. You come in with one belief, 10 years later, you still have the same belief.
It's a political forum where you get to hear each persons unvarnished view of the world. You get to visit all the people NOT in your social/economic class.

This is a discussion forum. If you want to have a serious discussion you can.

If you want to be a troll and just harass others you can do that too.
 
Nobody will change their minds, especially in this toxic partisan environment. What we need to try and do is to restore functional civic discourse and that way conversations can be sincere, without the dysfunctional emotionalism and irrational zealotry. Once that happens, opinions can evolve and we can actually get better.
