Anyone ever use Reddit?

I've found Reddit to be OK. The true assholes that I've found are on StackOverflow! LOL.

Reddit I think is broad enough that there are probably islands of civility or islands of incivility.

I think anytime you have an anonymous forum it's going to bring out the asshole in a large number of people.

Moderators seem obsessed with deleting posts and banning people. Seems useless.

I was a member of a forum for about 20 years until it shut down earlier this year.

A small group of us talked about forming a group on Reddit, but nobody liked it so we ended up doing one on Discord.

Kind of strange getting used to it, but so far so good.

I registered for Reddit last week. Nothing but crap from the moderators. The structure is very confusing and the people running it seem more concerned with banning everyone than encouraging discussion.
