AOC Scorches Republicans for Defending Gosar: ‘The Nihilism Runs Deep!’

We fight, We win, Am Yisrael Chai
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) tore into House Republicans for rallying to the defense of Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ) just ahead of Wednesday’s censure vote, wondering “what is so hard” about saying Gosar’s cartoon depicting her murder is wrong.

Ocasio-Cortez’s remarks came right after House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) delivered a lengthy address claiming the censure of Gosar for publicly fantasizing about beheading his Democratic colleague was the “definition of abuse of power.”

“In response to the Republican leader’s remarks when he says that this action is unprecedented, what I believe is unprecedented is for a member of House leadership of either party to be unable to condemn incitement of violence against a member of this body,” she exclaimed.

“It is sad. It is a sad day in which a member who leads a political party in the United States of America cannot bring themselves to say that issuing a depiction of murdering a member of Congress is wrong, and instead decides to venture off into a tangent about gas prices and inflation,” the congresswoman continued. “What is so hard? What is so hard about saying that this is wrong?!”

House censures Rep. Gosar, ejects him from committees over violent video depicting sl

The House voted Wednesday to censure Rep. Paul A. Gosar (R-Ariz.) for tweeting an anime video that depicted him killing Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) and swinging swords at President Biden — a move that comes amid growing worries about violent political rhetoric 10 months after a mob of former president Donald Trump’s supporters attacked the Capitol.

The 223-to-207 vote, with one member voting present, marks the first time in more than a decade that the House has censured one of its members. The resolution also removes Gosar from his assignments on the House Oversight and Natural Resources committees.

Two Republicans, Reps. Liz Cheney (Wyo.) and Adam Kinzinger (Ill.), joined Democrats in backing the measure. Rep. David Joyce (R-Ohio) voted “present.”

House votes to censure GOP Rep. Paul Gosar after he tweeted an edited anime video that showed him killing AOC

The House of Representatives on Wednesday voted to censure Republican Rep. Paul Gosar of Arizona and remove him from his committee assignments after he posted an anime video that was edited to depict him killing Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York.

The rebuke also comes months after House Democrats voted to strip fellow far-right lawmaker Greene from her committee assignments in February. That vote came in response to the Georgia congresswoman's past support on social media for right-wing conspiracy theories and political violence. McCarthy, at the time, accused Democrats of a "partisan power grab."

Well, AOC is something of an expert on nihilism (the rejection of religious and moral principles) based on her constant decision making using Leftist dogma instead. Running Amazon out of her district when they would have provided over a thousand good jobs is a perfect example of her nihilism in action...
