So according to the left, any payment to pay off a person even if it isn't out of campaign funds violates campaign finance laws and is a felony.
That would mean that EVERY congressman who used this fund to pay someone to go away is guilty of violating campaign finance laws. Because they were obviously doing it to impact their campaigns and keep it from the public.
So what is the difference. Will anyone care to venture an answer?
